The research found that people with the highest levels of the omega-3s [docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)] in their blood showed the least brain shrinkage, memory loss and cognitive decline — all risk factors for alzhumers discase and dementia. Try to include fish such as salmon, sardines and halibut in your menu at least twice a week.
