Serve Soda in 'Skinny' Glasses

serve soda in 'skinny' glasses

In a Cornell study, when women served themselves hi-cal drinks, like soda or juice, in tall, but slim glasses, they ended up drinking 25 percent less than normal, yet felt just as satisfied. “Your stomach can tell you when you’re full, but sometimes your brain speaks up, first,” explains Kersting. “A tall, narrow glass holds less liquid than most short, wide ones, yet your brain assumes you’re getting a full serving, so it shuts down the urge to drink once you’re done.”
Tame soda cravings with skinny sips like this, and you could shed 10 pounds this year alone, say UCLA researchers.
