I found the Smart TV dashboard to be intuitive and I loved the ability to customize the content to my liking. You also get what LG calls a full web browser. I’ve yet to see any TV manufacturer provide the same experience you get on your computer at home. But it will do a basic job of browsing if you are patient. This is also one of the firstUltraViolet™ capable TVs giving you instant access to your movies in the cloud.
While I always recommend a hard wire connection the LG comes with integrated wireless capability and has the ability to make Skype™ video calls with the purchase of a Skype camera. You’ll also have to fork out $49.99 for a pair of these new lightweight 3D glasses with improved styling unless you buy the TV from us between now and 7/28/2012. If you do you’ll get two pair of glasses free with purchase of either the 50″ or 60″ PM9700 series plasma.
