This fisherman gutting his catch on the island of Apataki gets a regular evening visit from a metre-long nurse shark. A familiar sight to divers and snorkellers in French Polynesia, little black-tipped and white-tipped reef sharks cruise at the edges of coral formations. (Gabi Mocatta)
