Mt. Jumolhari
The Jumolhari trek is considered as one of the many challenging treks in Bhutan. The route takes us from Paro to Thimphu via the route taken up by the highlanders of Bhutan. The trek offers the perfect opportunity to get an insight into the highlanders of Bhutan. This route is also very popular among botanists and flower enthusiast, as the trail displays an array of high altitude wild flowers of different colors & sights.   For the first two nights we will follow the Paro Chu (River) up until we reach the basecamp at Jangothang, from where we can get beautiful views of the Mt. Jumolhari (Goddess of the Mountains). Like on most of the treks in Bhutan, exhilarating views of Bhutan’s Himalaya is assured in this trek, as we traverse through the high mountain passes.
This trek can be done in reverse from Thimphu to Paro and can also be further customized.
